Many Thanksgiving Blessings - Port Aransas Island

Our vacation started Saturday, November 20 at 6am. The 4 (5 including Mochie) of us got in the truck full of clothes for every season, tons of toys, golf clubs and fishing/hunting gear. We headed south for the Texas Coast! The boys first long car trip. They did fantastic during the 7 hours. We stopped at Cabela's to walk around and for the boys to have some lunch. They liked all the stuffed animals at Cabela's. Off again through San Antonio and Corpus Christi then THE BEACH!!! We were greeted at the beach house by Grandmama and Grand Pa Pair Hickman and Aunt Lovey and Uncle Tom James.

Everyday was a new and exciting adventure for the boys. Collin and I were so happy to share our love of the beach with Noah and Parker. It was so cute to see their expressions as they touched their toes in the sand then picked up the sand and proceeded to taste it. Yuck.

Later that in the week Steve, Erin and our favorite cousin Stevie Dee arrived at the beach.

Parker and Noah just love watching Stevie Dee. They are fascinated by everything she does and tells them. The 3 of them are going to have a fun life growing up together.

We turned 7 months old at the BEACH!

What a great weekend.

Its our half year birthday!!!!

Noah Fisher and Parker Nicklaus are 6 months old today.
We are so proud of them. They are amazing boys. Its amazing of the changes just within 1 month. We have little men now.

Parker has 2 teeth buds popping through and never complains. Just lots of drool.Watch out for the the cutest and loudest giggles and laughs all the time.Parker squeals in delight morning, noon and night even. A good part of the day you can find him in his favorite spot...his Jumparoo. He even has a special dance when he is in it. He is wearing 9 month clothing.
Reaching for everything...our faces, toys and even his toes. Drink at least 32 oz of formula eating 2x a day oatmeal with homemade pureed veggies. We think he will go from lying on his back to walking - his legs are so strong. He just doesn't feel the need to do the full roll over.
Parker has the BIGGEST SMILE EVER. Pure Sunshine. He is almost sleeping thru the night but Parker is a light sleeper. He has a harder time soothing himself back to sleep if he wakes during the night. Par Par as we call him is sweet, patient, loving, cuddly, silly, ticklish, focused on what is in front of him, plays by himself quietly and is happy 98% of everyday. We admire how he just loves every moment and embraces each moment to the fullest.
He weighs 18 lbs. 10 oz and 26 inches. WE LOVE YOU PAR PAR!

Noah has 1 tooth bud popping out and teething like crazy. He on the other hand tells you he is not feeling well. He has mastered rolling over backwards and forward. Only took a week to learn it. Loves it. Will drink 29 to 32 oz of formula and eating 2x a day oatmeal mixed with homemade pureed veggies. Daddy is a good chef.Noah still studies everything around him, he is just taking it all in. He gives great big grins but on his own terms. When he does watch out - it will steal your heart. Loves "kisses and hugs" game and flying in Daddy's arms. He weighs 17 lbs. and 27 inches. Also wearing size 9 months as well but slender at the waist. Noah has been quieter this month but we think because he is just mapping out all his surroundings. Interested in watching us and others as we walk, eat and talk. Reaching, reaching and more reaching. Noah is social, gentle, daredevil - not afraid of anything, curious, smart and a sweetheart!

Mommy and Daddy are so happy. These little men are pure joy. Alot of work (thanks mom and dad for all your hard work raising Collin and I - we get it now) but so all worth it. It is an honor to be their parents. I heard a song that summed it up. Life is not about breathing its is about "the moments that take your breathe away". Noah and Parker we are breathless! We love you. God Bless you sweet little men of ours.

PUMPKINS 2010

Pumpkins everywhere...Dallas Arboretum was in full bloom. What a wonderful day Noah and Parker had seeing a sea of pumpkins. Grandmama Hickman, Aunt Erin, Cousin Stevie Dee, Auntie Tiffany and Lovey were all there to join the fun.

5 MONTHS OLD TODAY

September 19, 2010 the boys are 5 months old today. Where did the past 5 months go? I kinda remember...the summer of 2010 flew by. Thinking to next summer - wow they boys will be a year old, able to go on the boat, swimming in the pool and maybe walking. Incredible how fast little 5 lb babies grow up.

Noah and Parker Update:

• Not totally rolling over but sooo close, from backs to tummies
• Both now giggle and laugh - Parker is totally ticklish
• Love to play in their Jumparoo.
• Their personalities are amazing. They are very different but perfect match. Noah still studies things and loves to chat. Parker is a hoot - so silly. Both easy going babies.
• They love to be outside. We take them out on the patio or to the lake house as much as possible. We are looking forward to fall weather. It will be so fun to take them in the stroller everywhere.
• Super neck control, they hold on to you with their arm when you carry them
• Weights...Collin and I are guessing 16 to 17.5 lbs
• Wearing 9 month clothing (both are long)
• We are in middle of sleep training - trying to drop middle of night feedings. Its alot of work so far but the reward will be a huge pay off. Mommy & Daddy are ready for some solid nights of sleep. They are doing super with the AM & PM naps.
• They have started rice cereal. Its so cute - little bird mouths. Parker loves it. Noah is getting the hang of it. He gets most of his in bedtime bottle. We are at 3 teaspoons 1x a day and will bump up as soon as they are drinking 32 oz. of formula during the daytime. Its a struggle to get that now but we are on our way.
• Our house does look like pre-school these days but designer mommy knows they love all the toys.
• We bought the perfect "twin mobile" too. A beautiful white and tan Ford Expediton. Love it.
• October will be a fun month. G & G Stoops & Lovey and Tiffany will all be visiting. The boys get to see their first pumpkin patch with their cousin Stevie Dee. Fall Weather arrives. They turn 6 months old. Halloween!!! Fun stuff.
